Sustainability and carbon reporting

We build an emissions inventory that finance, operations and investors can all trace back to source.

Utility sustainability reporting starts with an emissions inventory that finance and operations both trust. We collect generation, fuel and grid-loss data into one inventory, apply recognised methods such as PCAF where financed emissions are in scope, and prepare climate disclosures investors can trace back to source.

In the UAE, Federal Decree-Law No. 11 of 2024 introduces emissions measurement and reporting duties; in Saudi Arabia, listed companies follow the Saudi Exchange ESG disclosure guidelines alongside the targets of the Saudi Green Initiative.

What the work involves

  • Emissions inventory

Fuel, generation, losses and purchased energy collected, with the method behind each figure.

  • Calculation methods

Recognised methodologies applied consistently, including PCAF where financed emissions are in scope.

  • Investor disclosures

Climate data packs prepared so each disclosed figure links back to its source.

Signs you are ready to start

Grid reliability comes first, so operations and HSE should agree these points before work starts.

  • Generation, fuel and loss data have named owners.
  • The disclosures you must publish this year are listed.
  • Finance and sustainability agree which figures are final.
