Predictive maintenance and IoT

We use condition data to plan maintenance before machines fail.

Planned maintenance costs less than an unplanned stop, provided you can see the failure coming. We instrument critical assets, keep sensor traffic inside defined OT security zones, build simple digital twins that engineers trust and send alerts into the maintenance system as work orders.

Connected sensors use licensed networks and approved devices under TDRA's IoT regulatory framework in the UAE and CST rules in Saudi Arabia, and OT security follows the national standards in each country.

How the work is organised

  • Condition monitoring

Vibration, temperature and other readings collected from the assets that matter most.

  • OT security zones

Sensor and gateway traffic kept inside defined zones, in line with IEC 62443.

  • Alerts to work orders

Anomalies reviewed by engineers and raised as work orders in the maintenance system.

Are you ready to start?

Production schedules decide when systems can change, so plant leadership should agree these points first.

  • The critical assets to instrument first are chosen.
  • Maintenance history for those assets can be extracted.
  • Engineers have agreed how they will review alerts.
