Landing zone and foundation

A cloud foundation with security, network and identity in place before the first application moves.

Empty data centre aisle between rows of server racks

We build the cloud foundation every workload lands on: account or subscription structure, network baselines, identity patterns and guardrails written as policy as code. Logging, security tooling and data residency settings are in place before the first application moves.

We set residency guardrails for in-country cloud regions and sovereign cloud options in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, and map the foundation to the UAE Information Assurance Regulation and the NCA Cloud Cybersecurity Controls where they apply.

What the work involves

  • Account and network structure

Accounts or subscriptions, network segments and connectivity laid out for production, non-production and shared services.

  • Guardrails as code

Policies for regions, encryption, tagging and public access, enforced automatically rather than by manual review.

  • Identity and logging

Central identity, least-privilege roles and logs collected in one place from day one.

  • Everything as code

Infrastructure, policies and pipelines defined as code and reviewed like any other change.

  • Handover to your platform team

Runbooks, dashboards and pairing sessions, so your engineers run what we built.

When the foundation comes first

Build it before migration, or as soon as cloud accounts start to multiply without common rules.

  • Teams create cloud accounts with their own network and security settings.
  • Security reviews repeat the same findings for every new workload.
  • Data residency requirements are checked by hand, if at all.
