Hypercare stabilisation

The first weeks after go-live run from one room, with daily decisions on what to fix first.

We run the weeks after go-live: a command centre, daily defect triage, stabilisation measures and a clear path from project to support. Knowledge transfer is planned, so your support team owns the system by the time hypercare ends.

We plan hypercare around your calendar, for example month-end and VAT return dates, payroll runs and Ramadan working hours, so the busiest weeks get the most cover.

What the work involves

  • Command centre

A daily rhythm of stand-ups, triage and status updates for the business during the first weeks.

  • Stabilisation measures

Agreed indicators, such as open defects and transaction backlogs, that decide when hypercare can end.

  • Knowledge transfer

Sessions, runbooks and shadowing, so your support team is ready to take over.

  • Business ownership

Process owners from finance, HR or sales sign off designs and test results, not IT alone.

  • Fixes before new requests

During hypercare the team fixes defects first; new requests are logged for the backlog after stabilisation.

When structured hypercare matters

It matters most for systems that touch money, payroll or customers in their first weeks.

  • Go-live falls close to month-end, payroll or a peak season.
  • Support staff have not used the new system in production.
  • Defects are reported in many channels and nobody ranks them.
