Campus and data centre refresh

One network standard across offices and data centres, with sites moved over without disrupting work.

We plan and deliver the refresh of campus and data centre networks: structured cabling, routing and switching designs, Wi-Fi 6E surveys and standards for configuration and naming. Cutovers are scheduled site by site with rollback plans, so users barely notice the change.

Data centres and campuses in the Gulf face heat and dust that shorten equipment life, so designs account for cooling, cabinet placement and spares, and cutovers avoid peak periods such as Ramadan and financial year-end.

What the engagement covers

  • Design and standards

Routing, switching and addressing designs, with configuration and naming standards for every site.

  • Wireless surveys

Site surveys and Wi-Fi 6E designs based on how each floor or building is actually used.

  • Site cutovers

Cutover runbooks and rollback plans, scheduled around business hours and critical periods.

  • Designs you can operate

Standard configurations, documentation and monitoring handed over with every site.

  • Change without disruption

Work scheduled in agreed windows, with a tested rollback for every cutover.

When the network is due for refresh

It is due when equipment nears end of support or the network can no longer carry what the business runs on it.

  • Switches or routers are reaching end of vendor support.
  • Wi-Fi does not cope with today's devices and video calls.
  • Each site was built to a different standard.
