Service design

A service redesigned around the people who use it and the staff who deliver it.

Hand placing a sticky note on a workshop wall of blank notes

We map a service end to end, front stage and back stage: what users see, what staff do and which systems and policies support each step. The service blueprint shows where the journey breaks, and we design and pilot the fixes with the teams who deliver the service.

For government services, the blueprint also covers national channels and platforms, such as UAE PASS sign-in and customer happiness centres in the UAE, or Nafath and unified government portals in Saudi Arabia, so the journey is designed across every touchpoint.

What we deliver

  • Journey mapping

The user journey across channels, built from research rather than assumptions.

  • Service blueprint

Front-stage and back-stage steps, systems and policies shown together, with pain points marked.

  • Pilot design

Small pilots of the redesigned steps, with measures agreed before they start.

  • Decisions grounded in evidence

Every design choice traced back to research, testing or an agreed constraint.

  • Bilingual by default

Arabic and English designed together, with right-to-left layouts and content reviewed in both languages.

When a service needs redesign

It is due when complaints point to the same steps and fixing one channel only moves the problem to another.

  • Users repeat the same information at different steps.
  • Complaints cluster around handovers between teams.
  • Digital channels exist, but people still visit or call to finish.
