Usability benchmarking

A usability score you can track release after release, based on real tasks.

Hand placing a sticky note on a workshop wall of blank notes

We measure how usable a product is and track it over time: task-based studies with representative users, task success and time on task, and standard scores such as the System Usability Scale (SUS). Repeating the benchmark after each major release shows whether the changes helped.

Benchmarks recruit participants from the markets you serve and run in Arabic and English, because task success often differs between language versions of the same product.

What we deliver

  • Benchmark study design

Core tasks, participant profiles and measures fixed, so results can be compared over time.

  • Usability testing

Moderated or unmoderated sessions that record task success, time and errors.

  • Iteration loop

Findings ranked by severity and fed into the backlog, then measured again in the next round.

  • Decisions grounded in evidence

Every design choice traced back to research, testing or an agreed constraint.

  • Bilingual by default

Arabic and English designed together, with right-to-left layouts and content reviewed in both languages.

When to benchmark usability

Benchmark before a redesign, so you can show afterwards whether it helped.

  • A redesign is planned and its success needs proving.
  • Usability is debated with opinions rather than data.
  • The Arabic and English versions have never been compared.
