BI, analytics and embedded insights in financial services

We build analytics on governed definitions, so every dashboard shows the same number for the same measure.

Dubai towers at dusk seen across a calm creek

We agree the data model and the governed metrics with the owner of each measure first. Dashboards and reports come next, with access rules that match who may see which data.

Financial institutions work under close central bank supervision, with fraud exposure and customers who expect money to move instantly. Risk, compliance and operations teams need to see how each change affects controls before it goes live, so we involve them from design onwards. Dashboards in the region usually need Arabic and English labels and right-to-left layouts, and personal or government data must stay within the hosting and access rules of the UAE PDPL and the Saudi PDPL.

We hand over with runbooks and training, and can stay on under agreed service levels.

Alongside sector regulation, we often map delivery evidence to cross-industry baselines such as the UAE Information Assurance Regulation issued by TDRA, the NCA Essential Cybersecurity Controls in Saudi Arabia and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, which many risk reviewers already use.

How the work is organised

From design to stable operation, with the evidence risk committees, internal audit and regulators ask for.

  • Governed metrics

Agreed definitions for key measures, held in one semantic layer that every report uses.

  • Data model and pipelines

Scheduled pipelines from source systems into a data warehouse, with data quality checks.

  • Dashboards and access

Reports and dashboards designed with their users, with row-level access rules where data is sensitive.

  • Regulatory landscape

We map delivery evidence to the expectations of the regulator you answer to: the Central Bank of the UAE or, for capital market firms, the Securities and Commodities Authority; in Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), including its Cyber Security Framework, or the Capital Market Authority.

  • Embedded insights

Reports and measures embedded in the applications people already use, with the same definitions.

  • Bilingual reporting

Arabic and English labels, right-to-left layouts and date and number formats checked on every report.

Checks before you start

An analytics programme is ready to start when leadership names the measures it will run the organisation on.

  • The classification of customer and transaction data has been agreed.
  • Leadership has agreed which measures matter most and who owns each definition.
  • The project team has access to the source systems behind the first measures.
