Platform implementation

Google Workspace

We move organisations onto Google Workspace with mail, files and calendars migrated in planned waves, organisational units that match how you work, and Vault keeping records from the first day.

The Admin console is where most Google Workspace decisions land: organisational units, Drive sharing rules, security settings and Vault retention. Workspace is browser-first, so device and browser policy matters as much as mailbox settings, and we test the Arabic interface and right-to-left editing in Gmail and Docs with real users. Data region policies are available on certain editions, and we check what they cover against your sector rules before the tenant is configured.

We connect Google Workspace to your identity provider by SAML, or sync users from Active Directory with Google Cloud Directory Sync. Mail, calendars and files move with Google Workspace Migrate or the data migration service, department by department. Context-aware access rules decide which devices reach Gmail and Drive, and shared drives take team files out of personal ownership.

How we implement Google Workspace

From blueprint to go-live and beyond: configuration, integration and support from one accountable team.

  • Blueprint and governance

The organisational unit structure, the external sharing policy and the Vault retention rules are agreed before migration starts, and IT, security and the records owner sign them off.

  • Drive sharing and DLP

External sharing limits by organisational unit, DLP rules for Gmail and Drive, and trust rules for partner domains, tested on a pilot group first.

  • Vault retention and holds

Vault retention rules by service and organisational unit, legal holds for named custodians, and export procedures written with the legal team.

  • Meeting rooms and Meet

Meet settings for recording, external participants and live streaming, with Google Meet hardware or compatible room systems set up and enrolled.

  • Hypercare and managed support

Google releases Workspace features on Rapid Release and Scheduled Release tracks, so we put a test group on Rapid Release and everyone else on Scheduled, and monitor Admin console alerts, sharing alerts and Vault holds.

Ready for Google Workspace?

Workspace suits organisations that work in the browser, collaborate on live documents rather than attachments, and want a lighter device estate, Chromebooks included, rather than a Windows-centred desktop.

  • A mail and file inventory, including legacy archives and PST files
  • An identity source: Active Directory with directory sync, or an external SSO provider
  • An edition decision, since Vault and DLP depend on it
  • Department heads who agree to move shared files into shared drives
