Platform implementation

Twilio Flex

We build Twilio Flex contact centres for teams that want to own their agent experience, with React plugins, TaskRouter routing and Twilio channels shaped around your processes.

Flex is a programmable contact centre: the agent interface is a React application you extend with plugins, and routing, voice and messaging come from Twilio's APIs. The work therefore looks more like a software project than a configuration exercise. In the Middle East, SMS sender IDs need registering in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, WhatsApp message templates need approval, and we confirm where Twilio processes and stores data against your residency policy.

TaskRouter workflows assign calls, chats and messages to agents by skill, language and capacity. Flex UI plugins, built and deployed with the Flex Plugins CLI, add CRM panels, custom actions and wrap-up forms, while Twilio Studio or Functions carry IVR and integration logic. Everything sits in source control, with separate Twilio accounts or subaccounts for development, test and production.

How we implement Twilio Flex

Design, build, integration and run-state support, with each decision recorded for your steering committee.

  • Blueprint and governance

The TaskRouter model, channel list, plugin architecture and environment strategy are agreed first, and contact centre operations, engineering and security sign them off.

  • TaskRouter routing design

Workspaces, task queues, workers and workflows for skill, language and priority routing, with capacity rules for agents who handle several chats at once.

  • WhatsApp and messaging channels

WhatsApp, SMS and web chat connected through Twilio Conversations, with approved message templates and registered sender IDs for each market.

  • Reporting with Flex Insights

Flex Insights dashboards for queue and agent performance, plus event streams into your data warehouse where deeper analysis is needed.

  • Hypercare and managed support

Flex UI versions and Twilio APIs change over time, so we test plugins against each new Flex UI release before upgrading, maintain the deployment pipeline, and watch task wait times, failed webhooks and usage costs.

Ready to build on Twilio Flex?

Flex fits organisations with an in-house engineering team that wants a contact centre shaped exactly to its product, such as digital banks, marketplaces and delivery apps, rather than a packaged suite.

  • Front-end and back-end developers able to own React plugins and Functions
  • A channel plan covering voice, WhatsApp, SMS and chat
  • Registered sender IDs and WhatsApp templates for each market
  • A deployment pipeline with separate development, test and production accounts
