Platform implementation

Salesforce Government Cloud

We implement Salesforce for government service delivery: cases, licences and requests from the public handled in Service Cloud, and public portals in Experience Cloud, with residency settled before any data moves.

Salesforce uses the Government Cloud name for its US government environment, so an entity in the region starts by confirming with Salesforce which Hyperforce region and which public sector features can serve its scope and residency rules. The work then centres on Salesforce's public sector solutions: licensing and permitting, benefits and grants, and the case management behind them, with portals where people apply for a service and track their request.

We model applications and cases on the public sector data model, build guided application forms with OmniScripts and FlexCards in OmniStudio, and call back-office systems through Integration Procedures. Experience Cloud provides the public portal, with sign-in through the national identity provider, and changes move between sandboxes through DevOps Center or a source-driven pipeline.

Where your enterprise architecture team works to a framework such as TOGAF, to the architecture standards of your digital government authority in the UAE or to the DGA's National Overall Reference Architecture (NORA) in Saudi Arabia, we record architecture and integration decisions in the same format, so vendor roadmaps can be reviewed alongside your own standards.

How we implement Salesforce Government Cloud

From blueprint to go-live and beyond: configuration, integration and support from one accountable team.

  • Blueprint and governance

The services in scope, the data model, sharing rules between internal teams and the portal sign-in approach are agreed with the service owner, the digital government team and internal audit before build.

  • Licensing and permitting flows

Application, review, inspection and issue steps for each type of licence or permit, with fees and renewal dates held on the record.

  • Portal sign-in with national identity

Experience Cloud sign-in connected to the national identity service, such as UAE PASS in the UAE or Nafath in Saudi Arabia, through standard identity protocols.

  • Arabic portal content

Portal pages, emails and notifications written in Arabic first, with right-to-left layouts checked on mobile devices.

  • Hypercare and managed support

Salesforce delivers three releases a year, so we review each release in a preview sandbox, retest OmniScripts and portal journeys, and after go-live watch case volumes, service levels and failed integrations.

Is Salesforce right for your front office?

Salesforce suits entities whose priority is the front office: many service requests, portals and case teams, often alongside an ERP that stays the system of record for finance.

  • Confirmation of the Hyperforce region and features available for the scope
  • A service catalogue with the steps, fees and service levels of each service
  • A decision on how the portal will use national identity sign-in
  • Administrators who can keep up with three releases a year
