Integration, APIs and iPaaS in energy and utilities

We design and build integrations that move data between your systems with known guarantees, and show failures before users find them.

Integration work decides how systems exchange data, whether through APIs, events or scheduled files, and what happens when something fails. We design the integration patterns, build the interfaces on your chosen platform and set up monitoring, so failures are seen and fixed rather than discovered later.

Energy and utility companies run long-lived assets where reliability and safety come first, and their control systems fall under OT security requirements. Field crews, control room operators and asset managers need changes scheduled within approved shutdowns and maintenance seasons, under HSE rules. Regional integration often reaches national platforms, such as UAE PASS and federal and emirate service APIs in the UAE or Nafath and ZATCA in Saudi Arabia, and the open finance frameworks of CBUAE and SAMA where banks are involved.

We hand over with runbooks and training, and can stay on under agreed service levels.

Alongside sector regulation, we often map delivery evidence to cross-industry baselines such as the UAE Information Assurance Regulation issued by TDRA, the NCA Essential Cybersecurity Controls in Saudi Arabia and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, which many risk reviewers already use.

What we deliver

Specialists in energy and utilities and platform engineers, with you from design to stable operation.

  • Integration architecture

Agreed patterns for APIs, events and files, with a catalogue of interfaces and an owner for each.

  • API management

Versioning, security and usage policies for APIs, published to internal and partner developers.

  • Monitoring and recovery

Alerts, retries and replay for failed messages, with dashboards your operations team can use.

  • OT security and sector rules

We design around OT security requirements such as the UAE Information Assurance Regulation and the Dubai Electronic Security Center's standards, or NCA OTCC in Saudi Arabia, with IEC 62443 for control systems, and keep the compliance evidence your regulator and HSE function review.

  • Security and access

Authentication, encryption and least-privilege access for every interface, reviewed with your security team.

  • Versioning and change

Interface versions, deprecation notices and tests, so a change in one system does not break another.

What to have in place first

An integration programme is ready to start when the systems to connect, their owners and the data each one masters are known.

  • The OT owner of each control system in scope has been named.
  • The owners of the main systems to be connected are named and available to agree interface contracts.
  • The system of record for each main data type has been agreed.
