Legal and contract lifecycle (CLM) in healthcare and life sciences

We set up contract management so every contract starts from an approved template and every obligation has an owner.

Contract lifecycle management covers intake, drafting from approved templates, negotiation, approval, signature and the obligations that follow. We set up the clause library, approval rules and repository, and connect the platform to procurement, finance and e-signature.

Healthcare providers, insurers and life sciences companies work under patient safety obligations and strict health data rules. Clinical leaders, privacy officers and IT need to agree how data is accessed and shared before anything is configured. E-signature has to meet the UAE law on electronic transactions and trust services, with UAE PASS digital signing where it is used, and in Saudi Arabia the Electronic Transactions Law and certificates issued through the National Center for Digital Certification; Saudi government contracts also run through Etimad.

After stabilisation we hand over to your teams or keep running the service with you.

Alongside sector regulation, we often map delivery evidence to cross-industry baselines such as the UAE Information Assurance Regulation issued by TDRA, the NCA Essential Cybersecurity Controls in Saudi Arabia and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, which many risk reviewers already use.

How the work is organised

From design to stable operation, with the evidence clinical governance committees, privacy offices and health regulators ask for.

  • Templates and clause library

Approved templates and fallback clauses in Arabic and English, owned by legal.

  • Approval and signature

Approval routes based on value and risk, connected to e-signature and your signing authority matrix.

  • Repository and obligations

One searchable repository, with renewal dates and obligations assigned to owners.

  • Health regulators and exchanges

We work within the requirements of the authority that licenses you: DOH in Abu Dhabi, DHA in Dubai or MOHAP in the UAE, or the Ministry of Health, the Saudi Food and Drug Authority and the National Health Information Center in Saudi Arabia. In Saudi Arabia, health insurance claims follow the Council of Health Insurance's rules through NPHIES, and public hospitals are grouped into health clusters under Health Holding. Integration with exchanges such as Malaffi, Nabidh, Riayati and NPHIES is planned where your services use them.

  • Intake and drafting

Requests captured through one form, routed by contract type and drafted from the right template.

  • Integration with procurement and finance

Contract values, suppliers and renewal dates linked to procurement and finance records.

Checks before you start

A contract programme is ready to start when legal has its standard templates and a clear view of who may sign.

  • The licensing authority and any health information exchange you report to have been identified.
  • Legal has agreed the standard templates and who may approve deviations from them.
  • The signing authority matrix is current and agreed with finance.
